Tea and Tales

Enjoy a fantastic Yorkshire tea with plenty of cake. Sit back and be entertained by master storyteller Ursula Holden Gill as she tells stories and sings songs exploring both sides of the border as a Lancashire lass in Yorkshire.

Ursula's stories and songs come from Pendle and her native Blackburn as well as those from West and North Yorks. There'll be plenty of opportunities to re-stock your plate and wet your whistle as Ursula shares a cacophony of traditional folk tales and her signature streetwise, savvy, self-penned originals. Tea and Tales is guaranteed to make you laugh and cry, think, reflect and roar again. Ursula Holden Gill is a shape-shifting scallywag who is truly not one to miss!

Once you've seen Ursula perform you'll want to see her again! We expect this event to be very popular so to secure your place please book in advance.

Ursula is an enchanting, highly engaging storyteller. She takes her audience on an absorbing journey of laughter, wonder and surprise. - BBC Writers Room
