Memories of an Indian Childhood

memories of an indian childhoodBe transported to Bombay… dusty, crowded and vibrant.

Welcome to Sita’s world of large families, romantic train journeys and political unrest. Funny and moving light-hearted tales become darker as Sita must leave India behind and come to Britain.

Based on autobiographical stories, Memories of an Indian Childhood intertwines  memories with the political story of the time and Indian folk tales consummately told by Sita Brand.
