In 2017 Settle Stories adopted an old BT phone box. We were keen to save this piece of our towns heritage and re purpose it in an exciting way. The Listening Gallery is a world first, an audio gallery in an old telephone box.
Ever feel like you're talking to a brick wall? Our current exhibition is 'The Sympathetic Ear' scripted by local writer Graham Brand. This is your chance to be heard. Take 5 and go and visit the Listening Gallery. Pick up the phone and offload. Who will you choose to speak to: the hairdresser, your Auntie, or perhaps the headmaster?
The gallery is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and is totally free to enter. If you've enjoyed your visit and want to support the ongoing cost of the gallery, you can donate here.
And / or why not review the gallery on Trip Advisor?

If you're visiting the Listening Gallery you can't miss Gallery on the Green, a visual art gallery in a restored phone box, just up the hill from the Listening Gallery.
