Sprinkle some Magic in School this Christmas!
Christmas Performance for KS1 & KS2
Can your pupils help Mrs Santa Claus save Christmas? On Christmas Eve 2019 Santa has had one too many mince pies to fly his sleigh. Mrs Santa Claus must take Santa’s trusty map and box of objects and use them to direct herself around the world to deliver presents.
Arts Charity Settle Stories present Mrs Santa Claus Takes the Reins. This interactive one-woman show and follow on resource pack for teachers will help your school celebrate Christmas in a new way.
The session supports these curricular areas:
English - spoken language, vocabulary, reading
Drama - co-creation, response, narrative following/forming
History - history of the wider world, traditions and beliefs
Geography - map-reading, knowledge of diverse places, people and environments
British Values - respect for different cultures, builds self-confidence, combats discrimination
You will receive a resource pack with activities. This pack enables you to further support the curricular areas already explored in the show, whilst developing skills that pupils have used throughout this interactive experience.
