Stuart started as a presenter on hospital radio 20 years ago, progressing to local commercial radio with Yorkshire Dales Radio, Stray FM and others. He’s been a presenter and journalist for many stations around the country including Real Radio, Smooth Radio, Hereward FM, 2BR and most recently BBC Radio 5 live. Stuart has had two spells working in PR for a local authority and a police force so understands both sides of the journalist-PR relationship as well as having an eye for a great story. He’s also a radio industry pundit and undertakes presenting and reporting duties for RadioToday.co.uk, where he was previously Editor for 3 years. Stuart is currently Chair of the Radio Academy Yorkshire Branch and works freelance for BBC Radio 5 live as a Senior Broadcast Journalist and newsreader.
