Jamie Crawford

Jamie Crawford

Jamie began telling stories by accident to a class of teenagers when teaching overseas.

After a moment’s desperation I began stumbling my way through a poorly remembered Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Twenty minutes later and long after the bell had gone, Gawain came home to Camelot and everyone was still listening.

That was 20 years ago. Since then he’s been transfixing audiences with his stories in schools, theatres, museums and festivals. His lively dramatic style uses poetry, clowning, stand-up.
