Tai Chi is an ancient practice, tested over time to be effective in contributing to our health and well-being. It is a proven means of achieving greater flexibility, balance and coordination and can bring about calm and relaxation. It lifts the spirits and can make a major contribution to our enjoyment of life.
It is easy and physically undemanding and can be enjoyed by everybody, of all ages and abilities, with or without any experience.
Tai Chi Qigong is a way of becoming more attuned to our physical bodies and our emotions to enable us to relax, taking tension out of our bodies and changing the way that we feel. Through taking control of ourselves, this has a direct impact on our body's immune and healing systems and therefore our general and specific well-being.
Tony, who will be delivering this session has a Diploma in Stress Management Training, a qualification in Person-Centred Counselling and Certificate in Emotional Freedom Technique. He is a Registered Instructor of the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain.
