This is a chance to find out what is happening in your local area and have a great day out trying new things and having fun together as a family!

A highlight of the festival comes all the way from Africa!  Travel to Sierra Leone with family stories from Usifu Jalloh and Ali Kamara in a spectacular show The Rapper and the Griot, mixingtraditional African storytelling and drumming with contemporary African rap. This immersive African adventure is one for all the family. 2-3pm, Settle Victoria Hall. Book online with a 20% discount off tickets bought before Thursday 25th May.

Come and find out why the rainbow brightens the sky and how a unicorn learned to fly as you meet creatures from the air above and around us! Hear tales about Russian witches, Icelandic ogresses, fabulous bats and remarkable birds in stories from around the world at Flying Fairies and Whirling Witches. The show is free for all and starts at 2pm at the Bell Tent, behind Settle Victoria Hall.  em poet.jpg
